"We love staying at this hotel , location short walk down the hill to the centre , clean comfy room with a lovely sea view room , paint work needs some tlc , will be back girl On bar Saturday night at 10.30 was being spoken to by a not very nice guy which I don’t think she deserved "

"Staff were as usual friendly and helpful. In a lovely position on the front. What lets the Grand down is the lack of parking, they have now lost free parking in the rail station, so you can park in a rugby ground over the road for £5 per day or in their "garage " which is really a large shed for £10 . Having said that we really love the hotel and will come back 2 or 3 times a year as usual. "

"Very nice hotel lovely location breakfast really good parking a bit on the expensive side and we went half board was disappointed with Sunday lunch but was sorted out with the management but would stay again "

"A friendly greeting and offer of help with our luggage was a great start. This is a modern hotel with superb views over the Salcombe Estuary. The room was very comfortable with all as you would expect. Mini bar, tea making, coffee pod machine etc Complimentary Salcombe gin and tonic on arrival plus ice delivered each night was great. The staff were excellent and helpful. A great Spa and pool. High standards set by friendly staff"

"Large building hidden atop of hill at the end of a cul den sac with fantastic views looking at onto the ocean as you walk out of the reception. A quick walk up the steps outside the front of the hotel and you can see for miles out on the sea front. Hotel itself well looked not a 4 or 5 star but good if your on a budget the rooms are basic but clean. The bar restaurant area is probably the best most up-to-date modern part of the hotel. Well stocked bar and I didn't eat any of the set menu but...

"Super location and excellent views, Staff are brilliant and the hotel is very different and interesting. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. We have stayed here 3 times now and have enjoyed it every time."

"First time at the lincombe hotel. Its been a wonderful stay. From our initial registration to leaving today service and staff have been first class. Cleanliness perfect both the room and hotel in all locations. We're are so impressed we've booked a weeks stay in July. "
