"The owner, Matt, greeted us at the house and was so helpful in giving us pointers on the house and places to visit and eat. The layout of the house was perfect for being all together as well as having space to enjoy quiet time. We loved Encinitas small town feel and how kind everyone was. The only thing that I would add is the secondary bedroom upstairs needs a fan for air circulation. We definitely will go back!"

"Cute, convenient property. Easy walk to beach, sunset overlook, shops and restaurants. Comfy beds and very clean. It is an older property and so and parts could use a little TLC. The window AC units are noisy and not very functional. The portable fan circulated the air much better. Would have been nice to open all windows and allow the ocean breeze to cool the place. Overall, a positive experience."

"I stayed at this property for 5 weeks for both business and to attend social events. Dee is an amazing host. The room is cozy, the bed very comfortable, the sheets were wonderfully silky and the towels were fluffy. The neighborhood was quiet with great restaurants and walking trails nearby. This is a hidden gem for those that enjoy the beach and for digital nomads. Highly recommend. "

"A close walk to the beach and convenient to Carlsbad Village along with many coastal areas. One of the best stocked houses we’ve ever rented! The garage/playroom was a big hit for my 18 month old granddaughter. Bedding was very comfy and shower felt great. My son in law said hot tub was amazing. I would definitely rent again when in the area!"

"This house is almost perfect, yet a few things are holding it back from getting there. Yes, the busy street and pitched driveway aren’t great, but it’s small things that could help elevate the house. The shower heads are cheap and water pressure is sad. The guest toilet makes a very loud weird sound every time it’s flushed."
