"We booked through Expedia that is connected to a Latin American booking site we had never heard of..something starting with a 'd' When we tried to check in, the desk wanted us to'call' our host, our reservation was supposed to be a done deal through Expedia & our phones DO NOT work in Colombia which we politely tried to explain to the desk & asked them to call for us, which they were very uncooperative about, refusing to call, which made absolutely No sense to us what so ever! "The service was very professional and polite. The hotel has an excellent location if the Laguito neighborhood is what you are looking for. We were meeting with friends staying across the street at the Hilton but didn't want to spend $400 per night. The hotel was clean, but somewhat dated. The air conditioner in the room worked but it was rather noisy, like the fan bearings needed replaced. There is a mini bar, but around the corner there is a carry out.
