During my recent stay at the hotel, I encountered a stark contrast between the staff. The receptionist was absolutely wonderful; she greeted us warmly, answered all our questions, and made us feel welcome. However, the experience quickly took a turn for the worse when it came to the office staff.
For starters, I was surprised to learn that they impose a $25 fee for something as basic as having bedsheets and towels cleaned daily. This was not only unexpected but felt quite excessive considering the overall cost of the stay. Every little request we made was met with an additional $25 charge, which added up quickly.
One particularly upsetting incident occurred when my brother had a slip in the bathroom while we were touring the apartment. In the midst of trying to enjoy our stay, he accidentally broke the sink. Instead of showing understanding or concern for his well-being, the staff immediately tried to charge us another $25 to cover the cost of fixing the sink. This response was not only inappropriate but incredibly frustrating, especially given the circumstances.
Overall, my experience with the hotel's customer service left a lot to be desired. The lack of empathy and continued fee structures felt off-putting. Given this poor treatment and the overwhelming feeling that customer satisfaction was not a priority, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. It was genuinely a disappointing experience from start to finish.
