Lost Iguana Resort and Spa

3.5 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (1002)
"Love the remote jungle location. Only problem was this was a ground floor room and the family above sounded like elephants walking and running across their room. Also the open air shower never got quite hot enough especially with the rainy weather."

Nayara Gardens

4.5 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (622)
"This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are truly amazing and so private. We stayed here for our honeymoon and the hotel gifted us a bottle of sparkling wine and little desserts. The turndown service was really nice and dry cleaning was fast and had great pricing compared to other hotels we stayed at. I can’t say enough about the staff, we arrived early for check in but staff brought us complimentary drinks and one staff William gave us an amazing tour of the property...

4.5 star property

"Had an excellent stay here in November for our honeymoon. Check in was friendly and we were greeted with cool towels and a cold drink which was lovely after a long drive. The hotel has incredible value with thermal spa. Our room was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning at the on site restaurant, one thing I will note is that there were not a lot of vegan options for breakfast and the espresso machine did not have a non dairy option. However, the servers were very...

Wide Luxury Home with Pool & Jacuzzi access & Amazing Volcano and Lake views

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (79)
"I took my family of 13 including 4 grandchildren to Costa Rica for 10 days. We stayed at the Pie in The Sky Villas for the first 5 nights and were not disappointed. The house and grounds were amazing and the views even better. We were fortunate to meet the owner, Ronald Peterson, after a few minutes he became one of my family. You could not ask for a better host. The location is perfect for any activities you want around the Arenal Volcano. 5 bedrooms & 5 baths, more than enough room for...

Lake Arenal-Stunning views of the lake, volcano and jungle.

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (104)
"The house was everything you needed; cozy, quaint, stunning views, gorgeous landscaping and privacy. It accommodated everything we needed, which was surprising because we failed to realize there was no central air, and we have a ln 11 month old, but the area we were in stayed relatively cool, and even better at night (nice & cool) and they provided multiple fans to circulate the air. We were never uncomfortable. It was truly a treat for my son and husband who had so much fun checking out the...
