"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. "We had a fabulous 4 night stay in this lovely lodge. So impressed with the standard of accommodation. Everything was finished to a very high standard. Plenty of room for lounging together, also having a TV in each room meant you could chill away from the group as well. "Myself and my friends enjoyed a quiet weekend in Cheddar, exploring and relaxing. The house was spotless and hot tub was incredible!! Absolutely perfect for what we wanted. Thank you :)"

The plot is really private and the accommodation is clean and well kept.We also bought a bottle of their own wine, which they kindly delivered at short notice after a text message! Thanks again."

"The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend."

"Amazingly spotless, lots of room. Every room had a wow factor. Our first stay in a luxe Lodge and it didn't dissapoint. Slight issue with ants on the last day after the grounds maintenance but it's expected and spray was provided. Hot tub clean and ph checked every day. Reception were happy to help when we realised the first aid kit was missing and there was a cut finger. Brought it round straight away (in their defence we did decline the final check of the housekeeping team as we arrived...

"Me and my partner had a lovely break at tor farm . The weather wasn’t good to us but we didn’t let that ruin our trip . Hot tub was great even in the wind and rain . Really warm and cosy lodge . Thanks to Karen for keeping us updated with things and making everything run smoothly 👍"

"Clean property in good location"

"Check in was very easy . Lodge was superbly clean and very pleasently laid out and prepared hats off to the host .Only thing id mention as going by the pictures i assumed it was the whole lodge pictured wene was only half but was plentyful for me and my wife .Already planning a 2nd trip with the bigger lodge If your looking definatly book "

"lovely property, relaxing but not enough hanging room for trousers, jackets and dresses also a little to difficult to find."

"We had the absolute best weekend! The property was fantastic and the setting was stunning. The pod had everything we needed and the instructions but easy to follow so we were able to relax and enjoy the weekend to its full potential. Matt He was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be going back and cannot wait to stay again!"

"Was a lovely enjoyable stay , place was spacious more than adequate and clean . The only disappointment we had was the very strong smell of smoke and weed in the corridors outside level two . The location of the apartments was superb and definitely be booking very soon Thankyou for a lovely stay "

Great hotel, great experience.

"Absolutely fantastic experience! The location couldn’t be better. The hotel is directly next to the train station and right at the edge of town. We asked if we could check our bags with them, but they allowed us to check into our room early instead. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and despite being right by the train tracks, the rooms were well sound proofed. We loved having bunk beds for our kids. Such a great use of space, and they loved having their own reading lights. The breakfast was great and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. If we’re ever back in Cardiff, we will stay there again."
