"The Scott is a beautiful hotel with amazing staff, gorgeous fine dining restaurant, warm bar area, and beautiful rooms. Quick and easy bus access to the center of Edinburgh. The grounds and gardens are lovely as well. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Truly a great stay. Highly recommend. "

"Close to everything , clean and good for putting your head down , only downfall is microwave outside of room which other residents was using late at night (1030 and for half an hour! !) woke us up as was noisy but apart from that would defo stay again "

"I stayed here for a night whilst traveling solo for the first time, though I wish I could’ve stayed longer. Everything was lovely and professional, as were the owners. I had the pleasure of speaking with each of them—they are truly the kindest souls, and gave very helpful recommendations concerning Edinburgh activities. My room was very comfortable; the bathroom was warm, which was very pleasant after a chilly day; and the neighborhood around the hotel is adorable and quiet if you prioritize beauty rest. I don’t really eat breakfast, but it is served everyday between 7:30 and 9:30AM if you need a pick-me-up. Truly a gem if you get to stay here after the business of Edinburgh’s center; and absolutely worth the price—I highly recommend! Transportation to and from the city center is easy both by bus or car."
