Yes the condition of the entranceway and corridor did leave much to be desired but once inside the apartment we could see why it received such good reviews. "The hotel is well located near public transports and shops. However, the general cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. There were hairs around the bathroom sink and rust under the toilet seat not to mention the kitchen sink was not clean and dust on the floor along the walls. "Great location right on the tram and comfortable rental space"

"Can’t fault the accommodation. Spacious, well resourced and ideal location. Parking was an issue as not outside property, but a 5 minute drive away to a trading estate where I just had to leave the car and hope for the best! Communication not great. Had no idea about parking until after we’d arrived and unloaded so could potentially have got a ticket. And still waiting for a response for another issue but we’re back home! "

"I recently stayed at this charming two-bedroom flat with my mom and a family friend. We thought it was very clean and enjoyed having breakfast and coffee in the kitchen nook each morning. We were there to visit the Edinburgh Fringe and check out the city for the first time and it was a great place to have our home base. The bus stops were nearby and it was fairly walkable. We would stay there again!"

"Loved the location, it is just steps from the Royal Mile and lots of attractions. The Tolbooth Tavern nearby was a great find. The building itself is really good as well. There is are lot of stairs, but also a lot of space which was very good for our famiy stay. The building does need some updates (ie carpet on stairs looks dingy, and there are banged up walls in the stairway is likely from lots of travellers).
