"We had a very friendly welcome, and shown to our room, found the room clean and spacious,went for evening meal in the restaurant,staff very attentive,food was delicious and well presented. Went for breakfast and again delicious,staff always had a smile. Overall I would recommend a stay here . Went for cliff walk to the border, beautiful views easy access to motor way to visit other places."

"The location of sea view cabin is amazing, waking up to that view every morning was perfection. The cabin was spotless cozy and warm, the attention to every detail was spot on. Communication with the host is on another level. We had the best time and can’t wait to return."

"Booked this hotel as it was close to family we were visiting on a last minute trip. Ample parking on arrival and a very friendly helpful young gentleman at reception, he knew the answer to any questions we had and was so knowledgeable - a real credit to the hotel. We decided to have dinner in the restaurant even though we hadn’t booked and it was no problem at all, there was a small menu and only one vegetarian option but it was really lovely, one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time and a great price too. The room itself was very small for a double, any more than 1 night in it would have been a squeeze. The room was also a bit dated and in need of repair but clean enough and the bed was very comfortable, next time we will try and book a larger room so we have space for our bags. Breakfast was included which was a bonus, nothing fancy but it filled a hole, cereals or a full Scottish on offer. We will be back soon I am sure! "
