"On the positive side, the hotel grounds are lovely and the rooms are very spacious. Good drinks at the bar and the sunset hammocks are a nice feature. The staff was also attentive and friendly. On the downside, we didn’t love the area around the hotel - it’s off a busy four lane road that made it quite noisy if we were on the balcony and didn’t really offer anything to do near the hotel. "We loved the location of the Resort and the "chill" vibe it provided. The hourly shuttle to and from downtown Key West was a GREAT asset and we utilized it everyday. We also took advantage of the bicycles to get to lunch (at Hog Fish) and the kayaks. My only frustration is that we must have missed the $50 daily "resort fee" in the fine print when we booked so that was a bit of a surprise. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to others."
