"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking. I didn’t like the furniture that needs upgrading within 2-3 years, I didn’t like room service that needed a new menu and chef, I didn’t like the relative lack of training of staff at concierge and overall. I didn’t like being told all restaurants open until 1 am when only two were open. I didn’t like the smell of the cigar room reception. I didn’t like the Lebanese restaurant Zaitouni; it should be replaced immediately. "
