The reason for us to book the same hotel in Cairo on the night before and after going to Giza is that we only need to bring little thing and leave our large luggage in the hotel. "Located in a central area, very close to Egyptian museum, Cairo tower. There are varieties of dining options nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room/bathroom equipped with necessary items including AC, hair dryer and iron. Breakfast good and more than enough. Special thanks to manager who arranged dinner cruise at last minute, when my original booking was cancelled. Overall, highly recommend."

"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking.
