"The staff and service is excellent. The individual rooms are a distance away from the lobby/restaurant, which I didn’t like so much. That, however, is secondary to the excellent staff and the large comfortable rooms. The wine tasting was extremely well done."

"Great property if you want easy access to the waterfront along the Douro River. The path is great for jogging or just walking. Friendly and helpful hotel staff who actually gave us his personal Ibuprofen when we asked where to get some. Unfortunately, we were feeling a little under the weather so did not venture out too much, but we did enjoy the tremendous rooftop views of the river while enjoying some food and great wine.
