"We have just returned from a week away at Pigeon House. I can't fault the property - or the owners! Elaine and Adam were always quick to respond to queries and were on hand but kept a respectful distance. Pigeon House was spotlessly clean when we arrived and Elaine gave us a guided tour and showed us how everything worked. It was very well-equipped. Both bedrooms were lovely and the en-suites perfect - good showers, plenty of room (and toilet rolls!) more than enough towels and hand/body wash...

"The property was not fit for purpose with no working toilet, when I contacted the host she didn't arrange for a plumber to fix this so we had no working toilet during our stay which as you can imagine with 4 adults and 2 children in the property was not a pretty sight or smell. When checking in we were given the wrong code for the key safe so was unable to get into the property, we waited for nearly an hour for the host to finally call me back and give me the correct code. The motion sensitive light at the top of the stairs was very necessary. It would also be helpful to have a guide specific to the house, and not just a generic guide. Unfortunately had to take turn in staying downstairs as dogs are not allowed upstairs and our dog would not settle without us!
