The only downsides were the noise of the front door - not sure whose great idea it was to put a family room (206) directly above the main entrance and opposite the exit of the pub and the bed was rather hard - I compared it to the slab you would lay on for a Turkish massage but some might like that, I personally didn't. "

"A nice room above a nice pub. Breakfast isn't included, but it's a short walk into Ironbridge for all the cafes and shops there. The car park is huge but it also a popular spot for drinkers by the river. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was noisy until pub closing, but this wasn't a problem as it is a room above a pub."

"Had a lovely night at The Fox Much Wenlock. Not the best room we’ve stayed in but it was really clean , nice comfortable bed and nice big fluffy towels. The food was excellent and freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble . Worth a visit just to meet the owner and her lovely daughter who made us feel very welcome. We also found the village welcoming and interesting and a good base to visit other places. "

"We rated the White Hart as an excellent place to stay, we could not fault it. The bedroom overlooked the river, was large, clean and tidy. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was very good, the staff were friendly and service was great. The breakfast was a full English and we also requested porridge which was not on the menu, however the staff brought it in the following morning especially for us. The White Hart is in the centre of Ironbridge and close to all other attractions."
