"The hotel is in great location and staff were friendly although they were clearly short staffed with no one on the bar at times and only one person on reception at busy times. We had an issue with feather duvets and asked to be changed but were told that no one in housekeeping they had gone home. Someone did change it though whilst we were out. Check in and check out was painful the computer system being clearly slow didn’t help I had booked an access room but didn’t get one - we managed but if...

"We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"Lovely hotel Room was nice but walls need touching up and four pillows were all hard which was a shame. Really should have soft snd hard . Breakfast service was good but disappointing that i had to send eggs Benedict back as both eggs were hard. When it was replaced one was still hard ."

"Our room was quite small, but the bathroom in comparison was BIG!! However, the room had everything you needed It was clean and warm, and the bed was comfy. Lovely, soft towels in the bathroom. The staff at breakfast were excellent! The staff at breskfast"

"Clean and spacious room. Sited at front of hotel, though traffic noise from main road was not an issue. Mini fridge was noisy and pillows not v soft, though slept ok. Good location for Stratford, and good for what we needed. "
