Suddenly this was his fault and he needed to pay for it. Then Michael the owner proceeded to tell us we had to pay for the electricity. What? Never has a rental studio asked for electricity payment. "The apartment suited our needs, being well kept and clean and a short walk to restaurants and beach. The owners were really friendly and helped us with snorkeling trips and car rental, advising us on where to go on the island. Altogether, this made for a fantastic stay in Koh Lanta"
