"One of the down sides was the eating arrangements. Nothing to eat after 945pm if you were out at the entertainment events and needed a little snack. And the only bar open during the day was the pool bar. If you were in the pool it was hard to get service and if you did they didn’t really want to walk up the steps to the bar to get anything extra you might need or want. "Christmas Vacation 7 days. We had stayed at Palm Cay in 2018. The resort is very lovely, and the villa accommodated nine people. The location is on the southeast side of the island with less traffic. To be able to walk right out from the family room door to the beach and ocean was perfect. The communication with the owner of this unit/villa was a little troubling because we felt he had perhaps had a bad experience with previous guests. "The main thing that stood out about the Sandyport Resort was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone greeted you with a smile. The resort was well looked after and clean. It’s well located too, being only 15 minutes from the airport, but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise. It’s also part of a wider resort area which includes multiple restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance.
