"Fantastic stay!!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful with plenty of pool options and a nice sandy beach with clear emerald water. Good variety of dining - although pricey, we found it to be very high-quality cuisine, especially at Cleo and Katsuya. It was great that admission to the waterpark was included (we loved the lazy river). We were impressed by the eco-friendly measures in place at the resort, for example, the reusable water bottles. Extra special thanks to Ryan O'Hara who went above and beyond to ensure we had a most memorable stay! Thanks also to Don for looking after our luggage upon our departure. Some areas for improvement: 1. it would be nice to have an adults-only pool without an extra charge; 2. we experienced a number of unpleasant attitude issues with some female staff, including at the front desk, towel stands, and gift shop. Overall, we would highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar - it was fabulous! "

"This was our first Sandals vacation and it was a great one. We enjoyed it enough to book another one for Barbados next April while we were there. The food was good for the most part. The seafood restaurant was under renovation while we were there which took over the lunch and dinner buffet unfortunately. Pool chair saving started at the ridiculous times between 5am-6am between the alarm setters and butlers who were first to swipe them with the room coolers. Kind of annoying but as long as we could grab one for our things we enjoyed being in the pool for the most part. Don’t expect a chair at the quiet pool at all unless you have a butler. Music from the dj at the LOUD pool plays the music so loud at times that you can’t have a conversation or just relax let alone be able to communicate with a bar tender at the pool bar so they screw up loads of drinks which really isn’t their fault with how loud they blast the music in these poor bartenders ears. Staff was very nice overall but don’t expect anything in a hurry cause they’re definitely on island time but so were we so life goes on. Their piece of a private island across the way (5 min. boat ride from their own pier) is a good grab for a half day or so with a pool, a calm, clean beach and water and a restaurant with a pool bar and patio bar as well. The lack of children at the resort is worth its weight in gold between all activities and restaurants. That alone is probably worth sticking to the Sandals business model. Book it."

"It is a very quiet little motel. Very simple but clean and in walking distance to grocery store, restaurants, Cable Beach and bus stops. Worth the price!"

"We had a great time! We were on a girls trip and stayed in the Flamingo Residence, it was modest but very clean and comfortable. Lornah is a great host and assisted us right away with everything we needed. We felt safe, walked over to Baha Mar resort (where you can use the pool and beach facilities), grocery stores and neighborhood restaurants, and used a taxi for transportation to other areas. I appreciate the beach towels and beach gear they provided. It was overall a great stay and I'd definitely return in the future!"

"The people in our group were grandparents, 3 grandchildren, 2 moms. We loved the pool. Beach was fun, water was very blue and clean. Granddaughter says “we like food, good food here.” 2 pastry shops down the road from house, the original Swiss bake shop and the Swiss pastry shop (right next to each other) were great. Highly recommend"

"My far-flung family members wanted a place where we could converge but still by direct flights, so Nassau was perfect. This home is in an excellent location along the north shore, near enough that we could walk to a well-known resort (high tide made this an exciting adventure esp with children!), walk for groceries, ice cream, baked goods and coffee. We found we did not need rental cars for our large group, but used the recommended driver to go out to dinner and Atlantis (40 to 80 per trip). The beautiful beach outside may be all you need other than the occasional foray, and the house is perfect for cooking meals. The home itself is really lovely, with an open feeling, lots of places to go if you just want to read quietly, or if one or more of your party need to get some work done, an upper terrace perfect for coffee in the morning or wine at sunset, and a downstairs living and dining room with open kitchen perfect for hanging out together. We played a number of card games in the living room. There are lots of books in the home to choose from. The home is well-maintained and while we were therefore a very pleasant young man came to wash the lower terrace outside and clean the windows. The umbrella in the picnic table outside was broken when we were there, so sitting outside required sunscreen or good timing. Lots of beach towels and a couple of beach chairs to choose from but you might want to buy a beach umbrella. Overall, it what just what my 3-gen family needed!!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in the Cable Beach area! Very convenient location to catch the public bus downtown and go to the beach. Annick and her husband were awesome hosts! They greeted us when we arrived and even gave us a tour around the west side of the island! Would definitely stay here again!"
