"Overall it was an excellent experience. I appreciate free shuttle service. Only probelem was that the heating unit in my room was making strange noises, some time too load. Other than that it is an excellent place. Service/staff was excellent too."

"Hinotani is a seasonal find, like a good sake or cigar by the riverside, with tatami rooms, intelligent and proactive staff, and a Japanese experience that is local but aims to be international. The water park below is an eyesore that runs to summer end, but the food and room view in the morning - don't look down - are Japan's essentials, and add fall moon, nice baths, local drink and humor in F1season , and the immediate patron reflection is 'when will I be back?',"
