"The hotel was located in a quiet part of the city closer to the sea but walkable to the more busier sunset-dori area in Kobe. The hotel was stylish and unique which contributed to our enjoyable stay. From the clean and comfy rooms to the enjoyable breakfast on the top floor with a view we were always greeted by polite and welcoming staff. "Nice view with a balcony. Location may require some walking if you are not driving or going around with a taxi, but thats the trade off with the view in the edge of the Kobe Port. Great breakfast choice. Friendly staff. "

"We had a corner room offering 270 degree view of the harbor at 18th floor. The facilities of the room were quite adequate. Minibar could stock more. Breakfast was wonderful. There are other restaurants and coffee shop cafe. It is within easy walking distance to Chinatown area."

"Clean rooms, friendly and English speaking staff. Breakfast buffet included and has a large section of eastern and western food. Sometimes the buffet is crowded. It was really convenient that the airport bus stopped here and the train station is here as well."

"Nice and quaint ryokan with free shuttle service. The tourist information centre can help to contact them for you when you arrive. We booked the only room with an outdoor onsen and bathroom as we were travelling with a toddler. All other rooms don’t have any private toilets. Dinner was amazing and served at sister ryokan 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was served downstairs. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and welcoming ambiance. "Staff was incredible. Very helpful and friendly. The location is beautiful but the decor a little outdated. The room was very smokey but ok once we opened the window to air it out. The food was EXCELLENT. The outdoor onsen was my fave. I would stay here again despite the smokey room - just make sure you request a non-smoking room!"
