In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks. This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. If there is any wave at all there will definitely be surfers out in the water. #goldenhour

"2nd floor has a very fish oil smell from the restaurant. Besides that, the modern Japanese rooms are unreal, awesome amenities, great onsen, with a cold pool, no sauna. Staff were excellent, there are places for smoking. A Family Mart just around the corner, and good restaurants around, although is dark to walk around at night. But seems more for groups and families that are staying exclusively in the onsen."
