"Very clean and spacious room, and the overall hotel facilities are quite satisfactory. Well maintained building, very courteous staff. However, the air conditioning had a mind of its own—fluctuating between too warm and too cold with not much control. The bedroom could also use better lighting. Otherwise, the location is excellent—right across from a metro station and just a 15-minute walk to the London Eye, Westminster Bridge, and fine dining."

Explanation being ‘they’re doing something in the kitchen’ but not communicated at any point in the booking process. Also never mentioned gym or pool during check in so maybe that was closed too..."

"Arrived for a 2 night stay to be told our second night was cancelled due to government take over of the hotel. No call/email warning us of this so we arrived with two tired children and couldn’t then check into our room for three hours whilst I called hotels.com to try and sort it out. Hotel staff were useless and wouldn’t even make eye contact or offer help. Ended up ringing the USA for hours as hotels.com don’t have a UK switchboard. Abysmal service"

"The hotel was closed. We had not been told. There were mice running around the reception! We were moved hotel and where we went was lovely but the main reason we booked this hotel was for the swimming pool for our children and the hotel we moved to didn’t have one."
