"Cry welcoming and helpful staff . Nothing seemed too much trouble to help guests . The hotel is clean and well kept . It’s convenient for the bus into Cambridge , has excellent facilities , spa, car park. We will be back for another girly weekend "

"Lovely hotel, went there for Valentine’s day with my girlfriend. Lovely room, great bar staff. However, had a valentine’s meal in the restaurant, which was extremely poor service. Waited an hour and forty minutes for a meal The restaurant manager made no apology for the shocking service and the head waiter didn’t have a clue what she was doing or serving. Was served sparkling wine warm. Then given an ice bucket 10 minutes later. Not once did the waiter come over and ask if we wanted...

"Great couple of nights in a perfect location to explore Cambridge. Staff excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Very quaint and charismatic hotel with good facilities. Spotlessly clean, couldn’t fault it "

"Wow what a hotel! Perfectly located for all that Cambridge has to offer as well as the most comfy bed, clean room, well equipped bathroom with powerful shower and lovely bath wash etc, friendly staff and the most beautiful decor that I’ve seen in an English hotel! And to top it off there was a lovely fireplace in the hotel bar that we could have a nice drink in front of and warm up! Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. And it was even reasonably priced! Loved it! "

"Love the location, staff was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Rooms are streamlined ; no safe or refrigerator. Thermostat and heating system did not seem to work properly, but staff provided a space heater which was very helpful."
