"It was a nice room, clean and quiet. I would’ve liked some wash clothes in the bathroom and a fridge. The shower did not have incredibly hot water, more like warm even with the tap turned full blast hot. The breakfast was a little expensive. One bright spark was Jack. The door lock batteries died. He was quick and responsive getting them replaced. An asset to this hotel. Someone who understands customers and service. "

"Its a lovely old manor house set in its own lovely grounds and is part of Cambridge University. It is set on the southern side of the city. Check out is a very civilised 11am. It has a spacious bar with a garden terrace which does a limited menu but there is a pub a short walk away if you want something more substantial and a larger selection of beers. "It was a nice room very clean and tidy the only down fall was i could not get much sleep as there was a outside light on lighting up half my room coming from the kitchen down stairs , allso the room come with breakfast that i did not get that i was told on a Sunday its from 8am but in the welcome book in the room it said its from 7am or you can get a takeaway breakfast but the staff never told me this when i booked in "

"One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The service was 11/10. Really attentive and friendly from all areas. Food menu not extensive but I enjoyed my meal. The pool was lovely. The changing room lockers being code rather than key was great and I liked the facility to be able to dry my costume. The room was spacious and modern with lots of plugs and had a separate shower as well as a bath. There was a fridge but it didn’t seem switched on. Didn’t faff but would have been nice if it was cold....

"Wonderful hotel. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.They know they have drivers that don't have blue badges park in disabled bays but they have a way that only blue badge holders use them which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was a lovely. A nice choice of cereal, toast with spreads and tea and coffee. What can you ask for, a free breakfast. What a perfect way to start the day "
