"We had a short break at Stoke Park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a very special place and the grounds are fantastic. A highlight was the swimming pool which was very warm, we'll maintained and beautiful with lots of natural light and a big fish tank at the back. "I took my husband here for a night away for his birthday. The hotel is beautiful, very special with amazing rooms to explore and sit by one of the many fireplaces with a drink. We were allocated a room in the coach house which is closer to the spa but not part of the main building. The room was like staying in my grandmas house, clean but very old fashioned. "It’s a little tired in quite a few areas but the staff are lovely, the place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Swimming pool is a good temperature which is oddly uncommon (they’re usually bloody freezing!). Shower in room is so good I struggled to come out of it!! "

"This is a nice hotel in a lovely area of Buckinghamshire. Staff are friendly. The room was comfortable. There is a full cooked breakfast available. The only issue is the hotel is a bit worn, carpet in room a bit stained in places, room fittings could use an upgrade. But it's clean and well kept otherwise."
