"Caribe has a ton of history and is 80 years old as the oldest in Cartagena. My family of 6 did a short down and up from the states and it was magnificent. Cartagena surroundings are safe. If you go to the beach you may not like the peddlers, but we actually took advantage of it. Massages, Pedicures and Manicures all along the ocean front. $35 us for a half hour on jet ski… The seafood, oh the Seafood! No disappointments there. "Friendly staff. Loved how clean the property was. Well maintained. Loved seeing after every meal the cleaning process started. Done well ! Beach clean and safe. Security always around. Well lit at night. Lots of birds and palm trees. Loved the quiet adult only pool. Nice jazz music at breakfast and in the main desk sitting area. Highly recommend this all inclusive resort. "

"We’ve stayed at several hotels in Cartagena. But, this has been one of the better ones. We will return next year. The area. The staff. The property. The AC in our room!!!! Everything was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!! "

"It’s paradise. However, getting there is difficult. The roads that take you there are horrendous. It’s a long bumpy ride. It’s about 90 minutes by cab. Going by boat it’s very expensive and there are only two trips per day. "
