"This place calls itself a Yacht Club??? What a Joke!! When we arrived our keys were in lock boxes cause they don't have on site staff after 5pm. The doors do not have dead bolts, slide bars, or chains. We did not feel safe at all. Never been to a hotel that didn't have a dead bolt or chain on their door. The restaurant had a sign on the door "permanently closed". There were no cars at all in the whole parking lot, it seemed like the place was abandoned. There were no other guests there yet room...

"We booked a last minute trip from Jax for NYE in order to go to Blue Springs on the first. We arrived a bit after their closing and the front desk clerk was very accommodating and kind! Even pointed us in the direction of a local spot to grab a great dinner. It was incredibly peaceful, and clean. Riverside view was wonderful. We wish it wasn't such a quick trip, we’ll be back to rent a boat and actually enjoy the area for longer than one night!"
