"This property was a bit higher in proce but it was clean with friendly staff. I appreciated the free coffee and tea available at all times. I also felt the location was perfect for exploring Helen. Most shops were within walking distance which was wonderful considering the parking lots were pay to park in town. "

Yes it’s older & yes it’s by the road… but it’s a very affordable, clean, comfortable place to stay in a great location to be able access all sorts of things within minutes. The staff were super friendly & the room was perfect for the dogs. If we need to travel to Gainesville again, we would definitely stay at the Guest Lodge again!! "
