My son broke his glasses while on the trip and the receptionist walked with us to the optometrist. We couldn’t find someone to fix them but she went from one store to the next until we found someone. "The Hotel El Virrey is just about the only hotel directly on and facing the historic Plaza de Armas. It’s ideal for exploring the center of old Cusco. The staff were very friendly and as helpful as possible. The breakfast included with a night’s stay is typical of most Peruvian hotels but doesn’t start until 6:30 am which doesn’t work travellers doing an early start to Machu Picchu.
