Nice and clean hotel near downtown Cusco. Plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. Breakfast was included. Staff can help with transportation from/to the airport.

This place runs a scam. I paid for a room with two double beds, upon arrival I was told that they charge additional 30$ for second person. My expedia receipt states that the room was booked and nothing regarding amount of people. Also, on Expedia listing it says "our base rate is for two guests". We asked whether additional charge was for breakfast for second person - they said no. They also show us receipt that Expedia charges them a commission and that is also the reason they need to charge extra. You pay commission to advertise your hotel in Expedia! That is not additional customer's cost. At the end they charged us the same rate that Sonesta Hotel at Cusco did, where we stayed a few nights prior. However, Sonesta is new or recently renovated, has rooms and beds twice the size, provided bottled water and unlimited toiletries. Service at Sonesta also was impeccable and buffet breakfast was huge. LP Los Portales scam you into thinking you are paying less, but at the end charge the same. We are not cheap people and always tip well when we get good service, but this place just made us never want to stay here again. 30$ is not a lot of money, but a lie is a lot to avoid a business at all costs. Do yourself a favor, choose a more honest business.

Fantastic hotel with caring and helpful staff, felt very safe. Great breakfast buffet with range of options, love the fresh juice! Restaurant on site is absolutely amazing, well priced and the food is exceptional as is the service. Let you store luggage for Machu Picchu as well. Cannot wait to come back! Definitely book here.

Everyone was super friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was beautiful to relax in while we got acclimatized to the altitude. They helped arrange a taxi and even stored our bags when we did our trek. Upon our return we booked with them again
