"The property itself had a nice view but there was garbage around the property. Walkway to property for pedestrians was a hanging bridge, if your scared of heights you’ll have to walk the long way around. The tile at the start of the bridge on the property side was slippery, myself & others almost fell. Was an okay experience overall. "

"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "Very cool place with a very elevated view over Santa Teresa. A giant one-bedroom setup with the bathroom behind the bed means this is really only for couples comfortable with that setup. Check-in was coordinated over WhatsApp and we were greeted upon arrival. Our rental car made it up the steep driveway on the second attempt and there's a large flight of stairs, so you should feel comfortable climbing to get here. "The grounds were beautiful. Great community area (use of the kitchen too!) and pool. The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Right across from the ocean. If you go during the hottest months, be aware that the cabins have 3 mesh walls. We did not find this as a problem since there were 2 fans and quite comfortable in the evenings. Really, who spends too much time in their room on vacation anyway. That aside, the cabins are quite comfortable and have nice decks with hammocks."

"We stayed here for the entire month of April 2024 and enjoyed the house. During the driest and hottest month in CR, the refreshing pool and reliable AC was appreciated. The home was comfortable and modern, and the outdoor area covered. The living area is all outside like many homes in Costa Rica.
