"A good quality bedroom and bathroom, in a warm, well presented building. The bedroom was not large but perfect for the 2 of us. We liked it and would book again. On Leith Walk a short walk away a range of interesting eateries. We chose Turkish. There was also Tai, Indian, Italian, and others. Took time for staff to open entrance door and a system to advise staff have heard bell and are coming would be helpful. Staff were very helpful. "

"This is an unsafe place to stay. Were advised to park our car within range of cctv. The door of our room had recently been broken into as the lock was badly replaced. Dirty linen on the bed . This is being polite . Very unreliable person managing the property. Avoid at all costs"

"The staff were extremely helpful. The restaurant of the hotel serves Indian & Nepalese food. We came back after 10 o’clock after going to a music concert and they very kindly kept our order hot for us. Both our Indian meal and Scottish breakfast were delicious "

"The spindrift guest house is excellent you get met at the door by the hosts Mark and Jeni, who make you feel so welcome like your part of the family. They show you around the breakfast room and the lounge . The rooms are big and comfy thw whole place is spotless. Breakfast is amazing and you pick what you want from a changing menu daily which is finished off with homade loaf from Jeni we had banana loaf this morning which was still warm.
