"Close to the AT, so used this as a spot to refuel and refresh. Accommodations were nice, suite with a sofa and chair was perfect for our needs. Next to a food store. Closest laundromat is in Galax, about 15-20 minute drive."

"Stayed during weekend trip. House was very nice. A bit further from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk than we expected, but still only about 15 minutes from Boone. Nowhere closer to grab groceries that we saw. House could use a good "spring cleaning" and some maintenance but overall very nice. For coffee drinkers - the pictures show a standard drip coffee maker but it did have a Keurig combo drip & pod coffee maker when we stayed - bring coffee filters. Furniture was comfortable, beds were nice and fireplace was great. We would recommend it."
