"Very comfy bed and pillows. Great night's sleep. Very strange toilet in the bathroom, when you flushed it water splashed out on the floor. To get here from Gatwick Airport, follow the signs from the train station to buses downstairs. Go to Bay 9, and you can catch the bus from there. Be aware it's 5 pounds each way, so this adds quite a bit to your hotel stay. The hotel could do with explaining how and where you get the bus from the airport as it's really confusing for tourists. I would stay again though, as it was an extremely comfortable room. "

"It was a lovely period property with really nice modern rooms. The swimming pool was a little tired but it was clean and warm. The staff were all friendly and the breakfast was really nice and plenty to choose from. Would highly recommend."

"Nice hotel, pleasant clean room with a great view, friendly, helpful staff, and good buffet breakfast. It's not the closest hotel to Gatwick, but is only about a 10-minute taxi ride away, so it's definitely manageable. I would stay there again."
