"Emily was so welcoming, and very helpful beforehand and on arrival. The property is beautiful, so clean and comfortable and everything we needed…and the location was peaceful and serene, with lovely woodland walks from the property and beautiful views across the hills…and on a practical note a very short drive to a local shop for food etc, plus a lovely pub meal nearby as recommended by hosts. We will definitely be going back! Couldn’t rate it more positively if I tried!!"

"We had a fantastic family holiday here. The house was very comfortable and clean and well appointed. Our grandson particularly appreciated the Brio Train Set and all the Lego....not to mention the Tarzan Swing along the lane. Our welcome pack was the best I have ever had. The situation is just beautiful and for us, just perfect for visiting our family in Barry. Only thing to flag up, as we arrived in the dark, we were looking for the Yellow Grit Bin, which isn't there now!!!! It didn't matter...

"We had a great time at Riverside Cottage. It was clean, tidy and spacious, we enjoyed the views on the balcony overlooking the mountains. It had everything needed for a 4 day stay, but I would have stayed longer if possible next time. Recommend the local Pen Pych Mountain and 4 waterfalls walk. There is quite a lot within a 20-30 minute drive. Would recommend and hopefully be back soon, thank you"

"Our recent birthday holiday stay had its positives, but unfortunately, it didn't fully meet our expectations. The communication with the hosts was excellent—they were welcoming and even greeted us with Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The interior of the property was well done up, reflecting the effort put into its presentation. However, the location was not what we had anticipated. In hindsight, we should have checked the street view more...
