"Lots of charachter and very quirky. Lots of clutter and curiosities around the house, so not for everyone. Perfect location to explore Brecons and local area. Two friendly pubs in the village. Cottage has lots of Victorian penny slot games, a pinball machine and a space invaders! Host was away, but was still contactable and very helpful."

Our grandson particularly appreciated the Brio Train Set and all the Lego....not to mention the Tarzan Swing along the lane. Our welcome pack was the best I have ever had. The situation is just beautiful and for us, just perfect for visiting our family in Barry. Only thing to flag up, as we arrived in the dark, we were looking for the Yellow Grit Bin, which isn't there now!!!! It didn't matter...

"Our recent birthday holiday stay had its positives, but unfortunately, it didn't fully meet our expectations. The communication with the hosts was excellent—they were welcoming and even greeted us with Welsh cakes and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my birthday, which was a lovely touch. The interior of the property was well done up, reflecting the effort put into its presentation. However, the location was not what we had anticipated. In hindsight, we should have checked the street view more...
