Waterfront, cabin, beach in 10 steps, fire pit, Acadia, Sunset Cove Cottage
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (39)
"This home was perfect for our first outing to Acadia. We enjoy being away from the crowds and exploring on our own and this was the perfect setting. We explored the Schoodic side first and later launched kayaks directly from the property to explore the surroundings by water. We ate at local restaurants and also had a well equipped kitchen for those nights we stayed in. We took our bikes over to Acadia by ferry avoiding the traffic and getting a bonus tour guide from the ferry owners as we...

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (92)
"Fabulous accommodations - beautiful setting, just steps from the ocean in a quiet, working fishing (lobstering) cove with a trail behind the cabin. The cabin was spotless and truly had everything we might need. The excellent reviews are all true! We only regret that we didn't get to meet our hosts, but hope to go back and try again. In our opinion, the Schoodic peninsula is the best part of Acadia, and this cabin with its wonderful history is worth a return trip."

"We loved our stay at Rocky Beach! The property and home were exactly as described/pictured on the website. The cottage was decorated beautifully, and supplied everything we needed and more. The location was convenient to the lobster boats and Acadia Park, both which were very enjoyable. The firepit in the back yard by the beach was a great way to unwind after long days of sightseeing. The hosts were always just a message away, and responded to all our questions quickly. We will definitely...

Waterfront Schoodic Nature Lover’s Dream w/ Private Cove (Sleeps 12)
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"This property was nicely suited for a large group. There was plenty of comfortable space for two kids,5 and 10yrs, to play,17 yr old, had private space, and three adult couples, elbow room. The views were beautiful and the cove was a blast for kids and the younger adults. The cove access and the low handrailings on stairs were a little more difficult to navigate for the senior members. All and all a comfortable property with a great location!"
