"The grounds of this home are even more beautiful than the pictures. It is a sensory feast - the gardens, butterflies, parrots, iguanas, songbirds, toucans, ocean and mountain views, smells of flowers and jungle - you just don't get tired of it. Only the bedrooms have AC, so the main living area can get warm midday, but the fans held a lot. The kitchen is set up well for making family meals (and saving money as eating out is pricey). "The guest house was clean, comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen, and was stylishly decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the pool and lounge area. The guest house was closer to the host family's main home than I had assumed, but our host family was very respectful. "The whole family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home and country of Costa Rica! The road up to the home is a bit of a journey (but with 4 wheel drive no problem) but it is so worth it when you get to the home. The views are incredible from every window and deck. Wil, the property manager was so accommodating and easy to work with. If we return to Costa Rica this will be our choice to stay! Thanks again Suzanne, you have a lovely property!"
