"Very good hotel by the airport. Our flight was at 6am, and this hotel is 15mins away. My partner and I stayed at the pool an entire morning, we ordered drinks and food, which was all very good. The area had sun all day compared to most of the cities around. It seemed to be hotter at the hotel than downtown. I would recommend it. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English. "

"Very beautiful and welcoming. Staff is very attentive and working hard to address any issues or concerns. I didn’t venture off facilities, but there are places you can travel to that is not far away. My only issue was that the when I used the public hot tub it was a bit dirty from the nature that fell into it and it was warm at best. Not really hot. Everything I’d enjoyed and would recommend doing tour and the spa after. "

"This is one of the nicest airport hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t expect the quality in amenities or service. I feels more like a resort than an airport hotel. I will say that I was there with a group and not all rooms were created equal. The first half of my trip my room open onto the pool and the second half I was in the bridal suite. Both of my rooms were comfortable and worth recommending. If you can, upgrade your room! *this is a comparison to other global AIRPORT hotels*"

"The staff and owner at this property went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced at a hotel. They treated my husband and I like royalty. Our every need was met, we were given a fresh juice drink and warm wash cloth upon arrival. It was amazing, as were the gorgeous surroundings and wildlife . "

"The Hotel was very unique and located in the perfect area, it was walking distance from a lot of different restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful,especially Efrem and Alex who went above and beyond to make our stay very special. We can not wait to return."

"This is a very safe and comfortable high end hotel right in the middle of San Jose within walking distance of most of the attractions including the Main Markets and the National Museum. It's also right across the street from the National Theater. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. The lobby is on the 5th floor and you need a key card to enter the other floors with guest rooms so it is very safe. My family and I did not eat at the restaurant though it looked very nice. "Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"We loved the restaurant, the food, the staff. We loved the hiking opportunities, the flowers, the birds. We loved the hike to our room. We loved the setting - it’s quite a drive there- a beautiful drive to a beautiful destination. We loved our room- very quiet, lovely view we loved “Feathers”, the beautiful garden with the birds. We loved our quetzal tour and also “Batsu”, the other beautiful garden with lots of gorgeous birds. We loved everything. "

"This was my second visit one of the best hotels in the Savegre Valley for birders. The accommodations are excellent (including heating in the rooms & hot showers!), with the mountain-view villas being especially good for birders. A major bonus is a wonderful bird-feeding area attracting lots of hummingbirds & frugivores. The only drawback on this visit was the disappointing meals on our first evening - I hope just a reflection of temporary staffing problems. Fortunately excellent restaurants at Lauraceas and Savegre are close by. "
