"The location was great if you want to be right on Copacabana beach. The beach view from the room was beautiful too. The staff at the pool were great and the food we ordered for lunch while on the roof was also great. The actual room was not as clean or as modern as I was expecting. But it was still a fine overall experience. We enjoyed getting a drink on the rooftop each night before going to dinner."

It was a 3 night trip before traveling on, and we wanted an escape, proximity to the main sights, a beach, and uncover a gem. Jackpot in Casa Mosquito. "The doors to balcony are not good enough considering the rooms are above the pool/restaurant - they need to improve/update them- the hotel was very busy as it was the end of Carnival but the noise went very late into the night. The room was comfy nothing special and def not as good as other Fairmonts."
