"The room we stayed in had a balcony outside of the room. It provided a beautiful view of the surrounding downtown area. Being able to have the door open made the room very comfortable. The hotel itself was gorgeous. The lobby was elegant but welcoming and the attached bar/restaurant was also very enjoyable. The drinks were a bit week, but very tasty. The front door bellhops were so friendly without being overbearing. The front desk staff were informative and helpful. The area around the hotel is just gorgeous. We live in Portland but rarely spend time downtown, and this visit gave us the opportunity to explore our own city. We did not opt for the hotel parking, but instead utilized a nearby garage with a better rate. Super convenient! "

"The staff were incredible! Kind and resourceful. The rooms were nice and clean and cute! Free drinks upon checkin were a nice perk. I will say it was warm in the room but they gave us a fan and we were able to open the windows and that helped. The area is a little desolate, but there was a food cart lot just a few blocks away. That being said Portland as a whole seemed desolate and full of homeless folks. While it’s not the hotels fault at all, I didn’t feel safe being out after dark, but there wouldn’t have been anywhere in the city that I would’ve felt safe after dark to be honest. "
