"Very comfortable basement apartment with full bath, queen bed, mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, couch, etc. We had our own separate entrance and daylight windows with lots of light. The bed was comfortable and we had great communication with the owner. Conveniently located in Victor, which worked well for us in town for a Victor/Mendon wedding."

It is a basement suite, the design of which would be perfect for someone attending the nearby university, but not for two couples. (The person sleeping in the queen-sized bed in the small bedroom must open their door and step into the living area, which now contains a king-sized bed in order to transit to the bathroom.) The bedroom contains no furniture except for the bed and one very small night...

"So I never got check in details, messaged the host several hours before check in. Didn't hear anything. Showed up after check in time no one on the property. Called the host several times, no answer and voice mail was full. As I was walking the property another family showed up they had checked in the day before. While getting on the phone with vrbo the owner showed up and discovered that he had double booked. I am still waiting on his cancellation of my reservation and the return of my money...

"My friends and I had girls weekend in Canandaigua and stayed here. It’s a great location right on Main St. and within walking distance to the lake and all of the shops in town. The interior appears to be all brand new and they thought of all of the little things like having make up removal wipes and creamer for coffee. We didn’t want to leave!!"

There is no gate, door nor barrier so it is easy to fall down the stairs. They are located where you have to walk by them to get from the living area to the bedrooms and bathroom. "It was what I expected for the most part. Was surprised the windows were frosted so couldn’t see outside. That was strange. But at least they couldn’t see in . Was on a mainStreet so could hear people walking and talking. Expected that but took some getting used to. The bed was super comfy, walk in shower superb. Bedroom doorway was very narrow.frig with freezer was good so I could keep ice."

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."
