"Two night stay for UIUC Mom’s Weekend. Though the Red Roof Inn is a bit dated and is a no frills hotel, I have to admit that the bed was very comfortable and my stay was nice and quiet. It served its purpose for a place for me to sleep after spending all day with my son on campus celebrating Mom’s weekend. It was an easy drive (about 10 mins) to campus. At check in, the staff was so friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff was also friendly. It was a pleasant stay."

"Super sketchy!! The location was exactly what I needed because I come to Urbana to see my daughter who lives a block from there and spend nearly no time at the hotel (thank goodness!) Dirty, smelly room overall. Leaky shower faucets with a tub that didn’t drain well. Completely unsafe stairway they roped off with crime scene tape on my second day. Thankfully I didn’t discover the cockroaches until the morning I was leaving."

"Stay was great! Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. I paid the extra fee for breakfast through Hotels.com but was told that I would STILL have to pay for breakfast at the hotel bar/ restaurant. "

"The only drawback for some could be that there are no lifts in this property so one has to carry the laguage over stairs and may not be as convenient for the elderly to use stais always."

"Didnt like that the water wouldnt get very hot. Bed not very comfortable and only 1 pillow per person which was flat."
