"Locanda La Corte was a great home base for my wife and I in our recent travels to Venice. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, and even gave us an upgrade to a larger room with a view of the canals. Prior to our stay, front desk staff assisted us with securing reservations for dinner as well as recommendations for points of interest. The location was quiet as it was away from Piazza San Marco and the Rialto, but was still within a 10-minute walk of each of those areas. For the room, the air-con was strong, which was great to beat the humidity of the Venetian day. We didn't try the breakfast for an additional cost, but the breakfast courtyard was cute. My only complaint with the room was that the shower was a tight squeeze, but it was a small price to pay for a large, comfortable room. "
