The staff were always helpful and courteous and the bartender was fantastic (try his special Negroni with red beer!) we stayed in an attic room with exposed beams and a skylight; you can stay in beautiful suites with original frescos and private canal balconies! "Great, quiet location, unless your room is next to the canal, where you might hear boats passing by late at night. But honestly, that’s part of the Venice charm. The hotel used to be a convent, and it has a lot of character. Be prepared for some stairs, but there’s a handy back door for a quick shortcut. Overall, we loved our stay, one of the more affordable places we found. Plus, the breakfast was excellent!"

"The hotel is situated centrally within walking distance to main attractions in Venice. Aside from the low water pressure for the shower, everything was great! The breakfast could use some improvements and bedding could use an update. If these things were improved, the stay would be a plus plus. -Thank you very much for pleasant stay! "
