"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy. "Positives: The house was large with nice grounds. There was a nice walk to the local pub. The bedrooms overall were nice. Technical issues: • The hot tub kept tripping the fuseboard. So we missed out on the tub on the Friday night. • A few more dishwashing tablets would have been helpful, as would bin bags • The outside staircase up to the building had large spaces between the bars, which is dangerous for small kids. "Location was excellent, 10min walk into the City Center, safe neighbourhood, lots of cafes and restaurants nearby (recommend Chocolate & Co) and a small park nearby perfect for a dog or kid. Street parking provided and no issue finding a space. Rest of the stay was a mixed bag. Communication was sometimes delayed, and spread across emails, platform and different phone numbers. "We had a lovely stay for four days here. The apartment had enough space for us to spread out, and having an outdoor space and a washer/dryer was welcome. It got a bit hot one day where the bedrooms were; I would recommend a fan in each room and sun blocking curtains for warmer summer weather. "Constant, very loud, drunken stupidity made for a pretty sleepless night. Opposite 24 hour McDonald's. Really strong room fragrance in the kitchen was really off-putting and made me wonder what smells they were trying to conceal. Window sills not clean."

"We were quite surprised to discover that it was a terraced house but it was beautifully decorated ansnfelt very homely. We were fortunate to find off street parking further up the street but didn't move the car in case we lost our space. Towels were provided and the home was cosy and welcoming. Sadly the hot tub switched off overnight on the first evening so was cold for our first morning but we were able to turn it up easily so that it was hot in the late afternoon.
