"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

"The setting was impressive, from long drive up to the house, to the lovely grounds. We had 14 staying ahead of a family wedding @ Bowcliffe Hall and enjoyed both the individual privacy thanks to the size of the house along with the large bedrooms throughout. The WIFI was strong throughout even with everyone using it at the same time. We found a couple of nice walks for the dogs. Edward was very welcoming at the start, but presume we played by the rules as we didn't see him after that. overall...

"This lovely house met all the needs of a group of 5. Great location within easy reach of the station and the city walls. Little supermarket within a short walk. Great mattreses and plenty of comforts within the house. Nice courtyard outdoor area, including a small covered area. The only downside was a little bit of traffic noise at the front of the house because the windows were open (it was over a hot weekend). Otherwise a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this accommodation for anyone...

"Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. Had a relaxing stay and would definitely consider again next time we were in York. Small supermarket and Mrs Greedy’s at end of road was excellent for supplies and a quick cooked breakfast. "

The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy.
