"Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...

The location was fab for easy access to the city on foot (we parked the car outside the house and didn't use it again until the drive home!), and the parking permit made it all very easy. "We cannot fault our stay, we had a lovely time and location was excellent, we walked to everything within minutes, apart from the railway museum, when we caught the land train from the Minster. The house was lovely and having the outside space was a real bonus as at the end of the week it was warmer and we had coffee out there. "Property exactly as described, couldnt fault it. All bedrooms en suite (1 with a bath) and added bonus of a toilet downstairs. It had everything we needed and the Christmas trees and decorations were a really nice touch. Owners really friendly, responsive and very helpful and check in and out was really smooth. Great location as only 20/25 min leisurely walk to York Minster and 20 mins to The Shambles and 15 min walk from the station. Thoroughly recommended for anyone staying in York. Would...

"This particular house/client charged us for two separate nights and two separate cleaning charges. I spoke to these people before our trip and was promised a call back to look at the double cleaning charges. We heard nothing!!! I/we will refuse to comment on the premises until we get some retribution or better still a refund I have copied this item and will let potential new customers know of there inefficiency regards Gw a very disappointed customer"
