"We made a great choice in choosing the Riverfront Retreat for our Thanksgiving celebration. The large dining table fit our group and its close proximity to the kitchen made serving and cleanup a breeze. One bedroom is set apart from the others which worked perfectly for one couple who ducked out at 5am to catch a flight out of Dulles (about an hours drive) without disturbing others in the group. We enjoyed hiking in Seven Bends State Park and even toured the Shenandoah Caverns (a short drive)....

"My wife and I loved our stay at this location. Was a perfect weekend getaway. We really enjoyed what the house had to offer, especially the hot tub, sauna, and fireplace. Made the cold rainy weather we had cozy and enjoyable as we huddled up inside. "

"This cabin is amazing! Very authentic, mountain cabin and a more modern basement for variety. We loved it! Only issues were minor, such as low water pressure, especially when more than one of us was showering, no hot water in the downstairs shower, and ants on the kitchen counter, but no biggies, we still loved it and would do it again! Hopefully we’ll get back someday!"

"We needed a good middle location between NC and NY for our girls weekend. This home had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/12 baths, worked perfect for the 3 of us. Very clean! Check in was a bit challenging, they send you the info on the lock box but don't mention it's on the back side of a front porch post, in the dark with cellphone for lighting...but VRBO connected us with host quickly who let us know where it was, then it was easy peasey. "We stayed two nights and it was great! I don’t think we could’ve stayed much longer because we are tall folks so the shower and toilet area was tricky but all part of the adventure in my opinion! We loved star gazing and enjoyed the hot tub. We hiked, found some yummy restaurants and cute shops. The camper was fully stocked so I didn’t need to bring half of what I did but you never know with a lot of rentals. Overall, lovely getaway! "
